With Yin Xiao Wei (Joy) on our team, the creative horizons
for B&F and our clients are very bright. As a co-
founding member of B&F, driven by a dream to succeed,
Joy brings her unique qualities to the B&F experience...
When Joy was asked to write some words for this
article, this is what she wrote…
Our design is
our promise...
It’s lucky to live as a graphic designer
in Shanghai even the daily life is so full of problems:
our native Chinese background, western design education
experience and international customers. Someone said
creativity is the successful resolution of internal
conflicts. I agree. We are working on this every minute.
Start Small, Dream Big. I am so happy to see every member
in Birds & Fish is working so hard to realize our
dream. Living is an everyday business, so is design.
Some friends are worried about my too-long-working time.
But for me design is essentially playful. Everyday I
get so many new messages from the world and everyday
I am touched by other people’s wonderful work.
Living is never boring.
I believe these words are not only from me but also
from Cool Ian, Smart Jude and Cute Bailey, and all other
members of Birds & Fish. Coming to life is strange
and beautiful. Start Small, Dream Big. I believe Birds
& Fish will grow up beautifully.
Long time ago, I got a sentence: God lives in details.
I keep it as my rule for design. Now I share it with
all the friends of Birds & Fish Communications.

Client: APNC Group
Project Background: APNC Group is
an integrated marketing agency based in Shanghai China
serving the world’s top brands over a diverse array
of industries. Its services include strategic planning,
creative concept generation, event and exhibition management,
media relations, celebrity and VIP invitation, and corporate
sponsorship management.
In June APNC commissioned Birds & Fish to design
and print an information package for top FedEx managers
attending a corporate meeting and sightseeing tour in
Shanghai July 8 to July 11. The well-designed and printed
items include folder, brochure, CD, map and postcards.
